International Shipments Being Rejected by USPS

If you live outside of the US, there’s a very high probability you received or will be receiving an email about your order being returned to sender. I am not sure why, but the USPS processing center in Illinois has rejected all international shipments they’ve received today.

There is no way for me to tell why these shipments are being rejected until they arrive back at the warehouse.

Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about this.

If you received an email about your order being returned, know that it’s nothing you did wrong.

Once the orders arrive back at the warehouse, which should be early next week, I will be resending them with a different courier.

I apologize for the delay and any panic this may have caused.

Shipping Update and Customer Support Info

Shipping Update

Just wanted to give you guys an update to let you know where we’re at.

• All digital items have been delivered.
• 99% of orders containing only unsigned books have shipped.
• Everything else begins shipping today and will be shipping throughout February.

I am still not 100% certain how my warehouse and shipping partner integrate with Backerkit, so I am not entirely sure they will automatically send out emails with tracking information. Please bear with me while I try to figure this out.

Customer Support

Problems with received orders should be handled in the following ways:

If your order was shipped directly from DriveThruRPG, email their customer support, and they will take care of it. This will apply only to those whose order only contains unsigned paperbacks.

For everyone else, contact me directly through one of the following methods:

• Kickstarter Messaging
• Backerkit Support

You can also contact me through Discord or through our business email address at [email protected], but I check those two less frequently.

Refunding Unresponsive Backers

The warehouse will only hold inventory for a limited amount of time. For those receiving physical products beyond unsigned books that have not completed their Backerkit survey and/or paid for their shipping, we will begin refunding orders of all physical items that our warehouse handles (that’s everything but the unsigned paperbacks) on 02/09. This is your last chance to make sure you get your full order.

All DriveThruRPG Complimentary Copies Have Been Delivered

Hey guys! DriveThruRPG finally got the problem with the complimentary copies worked out and has sent them to everyone who did not receive them on the 15th.

Please note that The Merchant tier is a physical-only tier. That means that if you pledged at that level, you will not receive digital files in Backerkit or DriveThruRPG. Those who pledged to The Curious tier will only receive the Backerkit and DriveThruRPG file for The Core Rulebook & Starter Adventure.

Everyone else will receive 4 English files. The rest are all foreign translations. Speaking of which, the errors in the foreign translation files are currently in the process of being corrected.

If you were supposed to receive the DriveThruRPG files and did not, please start by checking your spam folder.

If you still do not see the email, and you have a DriveThruRPG account (under the email you provided us with your backer pledge), then you can go to this page on DriveThruRPG:

Staggered Shipping, Shipping Delays, and DriveThruRPG Update

Hey guys. There have definitely been a few more bumps in the road than expected these past few days, and I want to thank you all for bearing with me.

Shipping of the paperbacks for those who did not order signed versions or physical add-on items has begun. You will receive an email when your order has shipped.

Shipping of orders containing signed paperbacks and physical add-on items has been delayed by (I'm estimating) about a week because of delays with getting items to the warehouse due to unforeseen events. I will post another update when I am informed that these orders are shipping.

The sending of complimentary copies through DriveThruRPG is still in limbo as the DriveThruRPG team tries to figure out why the technical problem happened in the first place. I asked if I could just re-send the copies, and they said no. So, we wait. For how long, I, unfortunately, have no idea. But I will post another update when I get confirmation that the rest of the emails have been sent out.

If you have not received your email from DriveThrRPG yet, please don’t panic. I will be posting another update when all DriveThruRPG files have been delivered and will explain more about that a little later in this update. For now, let’s focus on Backerkit.

You can disregard these. They are the exact same files as Core Rulebook Final Version and Starter Adventure Final Version. The reason they’re even in there is because the SKU for after-Kickstarter orders got crossed with the one for Kickstarter orders.

If you do not see all the files you were supposed to have received, contact Backerkit first. If Backerkit cannot resolve your issue, they will contact me directly.

DriveThruRPG

Some of you may have received emails from DriveThruRPG, while others may not have. I tried to upload the complimentary copies to all customers at once, which caused DriveThruRPG to freeze. Despite waiting for over 30 minutes and refreshing multiple times, it would not unstick. Eventually, I backed out of the delivery queue, and now I have no idea what emails sent and what didn’t. I have put in a support request to DriveThruRPG about this since I can’t tell if all the orders went through or just the initial 1540 that it kept getting stuck on. Once I know that all DriveThruRPG orders have gone through, I will post another update. Sorry about this.
